Trees ready to leave the nursery for a tree planting site
Rainforest 4 Foundation and Reforests Now are working together to plant 100,000 trees in northern NSW. Most of the trees are being grown at ReForest Now’s rainforest plant nursery. Every Tuesday and Sunday from 10 am-12 pm volunteers help with propagation of seeds and growing on the rainforest trees until they are ready for planting. The nursery is located in the Mullumbimby Community Gardens at 156 Stuart Street, Mullumbimby, NSW. This is a fun activity for all ages and 15-20 volunteers join in every week. Volunteers are helping to grow the trees needed and this helps us keep costs down and get more trees in the ground. To volunteer please come to the nursery located in the Mullumbimby Community Gardens at 156 Stuart Street, Mullumbimby, NSW.
The nursery is expanding and has several tunnels and hardening off areas
