This ride takes us through the traditional heartland of the Bundjalung people - with the Border Ranges National Park being managed by the Githabul tribe who maintain active custodianship of this World Heritage listed Gondwana rainforest.
We'll be riding our mountain bikes through the largest expanse of sub-tropical rainforest in Australia!
Mikala will guide us each morning with a gentle yet potent daily Yoga practice to activate your body and awaken the spirit. Her yoga style blends the therapeutic aspects of hatha and yin yoga, which is gentle, healing and relaxing, with the more up beat pace of the vinyasa style for fluid and intuitive movement based sessions. Her intention is to facilitate the space for you to go within, connect to your body and tap into your own inner guidance.
Paul is your cycling expedition team leader - with extensive local experience in connecting to the forests, Paul is passionate about mountain biking, rainforest ecosystems, deep ecology and daily nature connection. A journey of embodiment exploring both the inner and outer landscapes where discovering new ways of connecting to the land opens fresh pathways of possibilities in the mind.

This is a non-competitive ride with an additional support vehicle to carry your extra festival gear.
****You will need to provide your own mountain bike and camping equipment (affordable bike rental options are available).*****
We are especially receptive of anyone who is lit up by this experience but perhaps doubts their ability to ride that far due to fitness levels, past accident trauma or self-imposed cap on personal abilities that you are ready to release and let go of..
Shifting from self-doubt and fear 'Wow this looks awesome but I'm not sure I am capable of this? it looks so far on the map!!!’
…to self-love and empowerment 'Yes I can do this - my body is fully capable and I am committed to training at-least once a week for the next month to prepare for an amazing ride to the festival'.
This experience will be a challenge. We will co-create a safe, supportive and nourishing container for our collective and personal expansion - where each and every participant will be supported to activate the bodies innate intelligence, expanding into our next level of possibilities.
***Discounted industry tickets to Earth Frequency Festival have been offered for riders as a token of support and solidarity from the festival organisers.***
