About the Rainforest 4 Foundation Fund.

The Rainforest 4 Foundation is registered with the Australian Government as a Company Limited by Guarantee (a non-profit organisation) and with the Australian Charities and Not-for-Profits Commission. All donations are tax-deductible and are received into the Rainforest 4 Foundation Fund managed by the Rainforest 4 Foundation.

The Rainforest 4 Foundation Fund is a public fund listed on the Register of Environmental Organisations under item 6.1.1 of subsection 30-55(1) of the Income Tax Assessment Act 1997. Donations of $2 or more are tax deductible.

Rainforest 4 Foundation was established in August 2018 to help you protect and restore the Earth’s rainforests.

With your support, the growth of our flagship programs Save the Daintree and Rainforest Rangers has resulted in the need for a new overarching identity that reflects the continued expansion of our conservation impact. 

As of September 2023, Rainforest 4 Foundation Ltd has changed its name to Gondwana Rainforest Trust Ltd.  The company will continue trading as Rainforest 4 Foundation until an official relaunch in late 2023.

While our name is changing, our mission, values, people and rainforest conservation aims are the same. 

Through our projects we deliver real outcomes for wildlife, climate, people and planet. With your support we protect and restore rainforests by purchasing land, creating new protected areas, stopping and reversing the impacts of development, and restoring rainforest ecosystems damaged in the past.
