Rainforest 4 Foundation is helping its partners Reforest Now to plant thousands of trees. This month we were at Durrumbul, inland from Byron Bay to help plant another 1,100 rainforest trees!
Last Saturday fifty volunteers got hands-on at Durrumbal, inland from Byron Bay at a Community Tree Planting organised by our project partners, Reforest Now. These 1,100 rainforest tres will help to restore the subtropical rainforest in northern NSW and also help address Climate Change by sequestering carbon from the atmosphere. Thanks to our generous donors we were able to provide funding for trees and mulch to make this great outcome happen!
Here are a few photographs from the activities on the day.
