1.7 million trees planted and counting!

Can you imagine planting 1,775,153 trees! That’s what’s been achieved in Sumatra over the past decade by the Orangutan Information Centre. Sumatran Orangutans, Elephants, Tigers and Rhinos have all benefitted from this incredible effort. And we’ve only getting started!

Some of the 1,775,153 trees planted in North Sumatra

We've set ourselves a goal of planting another 10,000 trees in August. For every $1 donated one additional tree will be planted.

Please help restore rainforest for in Sumatra for endangered wildlife. Every $1.00 you donate will plant a tree in Sumatra. If you donate $25 ten trees will be planted, a donation of $50 will plant 50 trees and a donation of $100 will see 100 trees planted to restore habitat for Sumatran Orangutans, Elephants, Tigers, and Rhinos.

Many of the rainforest trees have been planted in the Gunung Leuser National Park and replace illegally established oil palm plantations. Chainsaws are used to remove the oil palms and then the rainforest tree planting begins.

Oil palms are replaced with Rainforest.

For every $1 donated one additional tree will be planted.
