Tiered Partnership Program

Our tiered partnership program is structured with designated levels of support to allow you to easily choose how you wish to be aligned.

Your sponsorship payments will support the Rainforest 4 Foundation. You can also choose to align your support with one or more of our conservation programs.

1% for the Planet Partners

We have a commitment to engaging and supporting businesses who are members of 1% For The Planet.

1% for the Planet was founded on the model of a business membership program: responsible businesses giving back to Environmental Partners to create a healthier planet.

1% for the Planet supports businesses in directing 1% of their profits to nonprofit organisations working toward a common goal: protecting the future of our planet. They have helped direct hundreds of millions of dollars to environmental nonprofits around the world.

How it works:

• Join: Business members join the network, committing to donate the equivalent of 1% of gross sales through a combination of monetary, in-kind and approved promotional support directly to Environmental Partners.
• Advise: 1% for the Planet provides partnership advising, pairing members with Environmental Partners that align with their values, their brand and that make the biggest impact possible.
• Donate: Business members support their Environmental Partner(s) directly.
• Certify: 1% for the Planet certifies all member donations—legitimising members’ commitment by reviewing and confirming sales and donation details annually.

Carbon and Co-benefits Partners

When your business sponsors the planting of rainforest trees co-benefits are also created.

Deforestation over hundreds of years has released carbon into the atmosphere and we sequester that carbon through reforestation. As we achieve that outcome, we have the opportunity to simultaneously resolve other social and environmental issues.

Co-benefits include:

• Cultural benefits through alignment with and support for First Nations communities that provide substantive opportunities for employment and management.
• Natural benefits including ecosystem services such as biodiversity and wildlife protection and enhancement, soil conservation, water quality protection, maintenance of weather cycles etc.
• Social including, volunteering, and spaces for recreation and wellbeing
• Financial benefits through existing Australian Government carbon markets, and voluntary carbon and biodiversity markets
